Hotel Plaza Grande contributes to the reduction of the carbon footprint and reaffirms commitment to Sustainability in Ecuador

The Hotel Plaza Grande, of H.O.V Hotelera Quito S.A., a prominent hotel company in the region, is pleased to announce an important milestone in its commitment to environmental sustainability: obtaining the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Neutrality Verification Declaration. This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices in Ecuador.

The Greenhouse Gas emissions inventory covers January to December 2022. During this period, the company took measures to measure, reduce and offset its carbon emissions. H.O.V Hotelera Quito S.A. contributed to carbon reduction by financing a project to reduce carbon emissions by the magnitude of its impact (scope 1 and 2), that is, 2,400.51 tCO2e in 2022.
