Mawamba is an oceanfront property, but please note that Tortuguero Beach is not suitable for swimming due to strong currents and tides. Swimming is not allowed in the sea. From the beach, you can walk to town, a short distance from Mawamba Lodge. There is also a pathway that parallels the beach.
