Araras Lodge

Welcome to Araras Pantanal Eco Lodge. The Pantanal is the largest flooded plain on the planet, UNESCO has declared it a World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve, South America’s true wildlife sanctuary. Located in the center of the continent, with an area of approximately 150,000 km², the Pantanal presents itself as an area of transition, containing elements of the Cerrado, the Amazonian and Atlantic forests, the Caatinga and the Paraguayan Chaco. This fantastic biodiversity includes approximately: 698 species of birds, 80 species of mammals, 260 species of fish, and 50 species of reptiles. In the midst of this unique and rare biological diversity is Araras Pantanal Eco Lodge (16º30’42,3″ South latitude; 56º42’39,4″ West longitude).
